happy turkey day!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It's 5:47am as I type this. Why am I up so friggin' early you ask? SPIN class at 7:00. My friend Angela is meeting me at the NAC at 6:45. I always get up an hour prior to a class or workout, because no matter what time of the morning it is, I'm always hungry. Pre-spin fuel was one of Stu's sugar-free muffins and a coffee. Today's creamer was Marshmallow Mocha in case you were wondering :0)

IMG_2662 I had the chocolate one. I love these muffins because they're sugar free and only 150 calories [per muffin!} Giant and Super Fresh sell Butterfly Bakery goods. You have to try them.

Phoebs is waiting for me to drop a crumb. Nice try monster dog.

After work yesterday I took the 4pm Amtrak back. I learned my lesson from last year not to ever take NJ Transit back the night before a big holiday. Penn station was a mess. Crappy, smelly, miserable people were everywhere. Could you imagine traveling with them? Hell no! Amtrak is the way to go. I went direcrly from the train station {in Trenton} to my hair appointment. My friend Danielle's sister-in-law has the most beautiful blonde, and when I saw her last month, her hair was the first thing I noticed. I had to go wherever Katie went. And I did. THANK YOU AUDRA! I LOVE my hair. You guys know how picky and particular I am with my color, and Audra nailed it. I've found a new salon, and for that I am thakful, haha.

After my appointment, I mocked 8 back home, changed, and we were back in the car and  on our way to see Michael Buble. This was our 5th concert. He is amazing....no, Michael Buble is the perfect man. Even Stu agrees. HAHA. It was a fantastic date night :0). Our seats weren't too bad either.

And that my friends was how I spent my Thanksgiving Day eve. We're off to West Chester to spend the day with Stu's family. I bailed on the pumpkin roll and bought a sheet cake. Yeah, I took the easy way out. Whoooofc! The dogs are coming with us so they can see their cousin Emily who's a puggle.

Have a great Thanksgiving today!!

spin & din part 2

Hello Wednesday! Is it just me or are you tired too??

Tonight Dan and I are taking the 6:30 spin class at the NAC. I've been going balls to the wall with workouts lately. Definitely not a bad thing. I think it's because of all the variety. No session is the same. Between boot camp, running, zumba and spin, my bod never knows what to expect. I feel more muscular and leaner because of it. As a matter of fact, as I was sweating my ass off last night {at booty} I was thinking...why not become a personal trainer?? Seriously. Why not? It's not like I have this insane crazy work schedule that doesn't allow me to do other things. Most days I'm home by 5:30. I have every weekend off and never work holidays. Not to mention all the vacation time I get. I love meeting new people, I obviously have no problem communicating or getting along with others. I can do this! And I think I might. Now, where do I begin?? HA. Looks like I'll be shooting off some emails to my trainer friends. I'll keep you posted.

Good list alert! "Tips to slash your calorie intake."

PS-I'm going to explode from all the tootsie rolls I've been eating. This is bad. I guess it is a good thing spin class is in the near future. Damn you tootsie rolls.

pumpkin & cider

Happy Hump day! It would so much better if it were Friday, no??

Just sayin'

I decided I would save my 6 miler for this eveing. It'll give me something to look forward to when I get home from work. I uploaded a ton of new songs to my play list so that's one more reason to hit the pavement later. #1 song I LOVE running too right now?? P!nk's "Raise Your Glass."

I started my morning off with a cup of the Green Mountain Spiced Pumpkin coffee. T'was good. I could eat and drink anything pumpkin all day every day.

Gimme pumpkin. I want pumpkin!! Pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin!

boot camp is bad ass

Boot camp was great tonight. I love that my class is held outside at an elementary school too. Something about working out at dusk is cool {literally.} We did a variety of exercises. I feel sore and achy strong, grrrrrr!!!!

Bucks-Adventure-Boot-Camp
Immediately following booty, I hauled ass over to Chick-Filet {Wendy's will be Thursday} for a char-grilled chicken sandwich. I had to refuel. I proceeded to cross the parking lot over to Bed Bath & Beyond to eat it. Yes, I sat in my car at 8pm eating a chicken sandwich in the parking lot of Bed Bath & Beyond. This is my life. You can guess what happened next. Yup, I went into BB&B. I had to retreive pumpkin spice K-cups, Yankee Candle "spiced pumpkin" tarts, a lamp and stainless steel cleaner. Random list, but they were all must-haves. Oh and btw, Christmas stuff is up! Gahh!!

Off to bed. This little lady be tired. Have a great night!

boot camp is tonight. I'm frightened.

Hiii guys!

It's Tuesday, wahhhh, why can't it be Friday?

Stu and I took the same train in this morning and it was so nice. We actually got to eat breakfast together. This never ever happens.

Tonight I start Bucks Boot Camp. It's every Tuesday and Thursday through November 4th. My sister takes these boot camps all the time up in Boston so when I heard about this one, I had to sign up. It's always exciting to meet new people and learn new workouts and routines. I will most likey be walking like a horse tomorrow, as I'm so not flexible. Seeing that the class ends at 7:30, I already know what I'll be having for dinner: the BLT cobb salad from Wendy's. Obsessed. Totally obsessed.

Wendys
That's about it for now. I'm boring today. Sorry.

early riser

Happy Tuesday!!

Holy crap, this is the 4th day in a row I've gotten up at 5am to go running. What is going on with me? I kinda like gettin' up early and hitting the pavement before the rest of my hood.

I have a gig later today. It's at the Empire AMC theater in Times Square for the premiere of "Vampires Suck". My job is really hard. I have to meet and chat with listeners and then tweet about the event. At the end of the night, they hand me a check. Done and done. Life is good.

Okay, now onto a more serious subject. Mascara.

I need to find Loreal's Panoramic Curl mascara. I've heard too many great things about this stuff to not try it. I've been to every Duane Reade, CVS, and Walgreens in this damn city {and in Chicago}, still no luck. Help. If you find it, please let me know. I might just have to suck it up and order it off of amazon.com.

I'm tempted to "add this to my cart."
