hi..."ping"

Get us to a mountain..

Nancy, Nicole and I would seriously never be caught dead in those ugly ass oakley's (top pic). The ray bans..maybe. They were cute. Today we went shopping at the outlets up by Ashbury Park, NJ and had the best time. It's non-stop laughs with these two characters. Nanc and I bought ugg slippers (after trying on about 52 pair) for $60. Sucked for Nicole, because they didn't have her size.

Look at my new ugg slips...comfy!

Moving on to Banana Republic..that outlet doesn't joke around. Nanc got a top for $5, and I got jeans for $35 and a wool sweater turtle neck top for $10. Too many deals going on. My head was spinning. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Our waitress was miserable and had zero personality. What a Debbie downer. UGH.  After a three hour extended lunch at Rubes, Nic and I dedcided we needed a pedicure, and not just any generic pedi, a jelly pedicure. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Insane! Soo luxurious. Your feet feel like, well.....they're soaking in jelly. It was awesome! We begged Nanc to to come, but she had other plans. Booo!

Stu Super Bowl update** he still doesn't have a ticket!

Tomorrow I'm going to see The Uninvited, then hit the kop mall. With my new hours, (1-4pm), getting to kop after work ain't gonna happen. Traffic blows that time of day.

Oh, and I learned how to "ping" on my blackberry! I endorse AT&T, how did I not know this??? I'm obsessed with pinging now! Thanks a lot Nic!!

"Pinging" comes in handy when someone is taking too long to respond to you. Ping their ass!!! Let them know you mean business and to answer your bbm! Stu got a lot of "pings" from me today. Click here to read more about "pinging".

I have a zillion movies to catch on so I'm gonna jet. Sorry this post is late.

I think every chick needs to read this book. It's fascinating. Really. You can find me at Barne's & Noble tonight  thumbing through it. Click HERE to check it out and learn a little more about the author who wrote it. He's gonna give Suze "I sleep in a tanning bed" Orman a run for her money (no punt intended).

It's Friday, weee!!!! Stu and his friends are down in Tampa for the Super Bowl..which means, I'm hanging with my girlfriends ALL weekend long. Last night we kicked things off at the Freehold Mall. I was on a serious mission to find a pair of Joe's Jeans. Just so happened that my brilliant friend Nicole ran into the best sale rack EVER, and I just so happened to find a pair of Joe's in my size (last one), and they fit perfectly! They're getting hemmed, (story of my life) so I have to wait til next week to pick them up :0( After Nordie's we had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Yum! We started with the tai chicken lettuce wraps. They are so goooood. I had the ahi tataki tuna salad for dinner.  Nicole ordered the asian chicken salad which could feed a small army. It was HUGE! Jamie had a burger, and Nanc had the bang bang chicken (w/the orange sauce). We all ate very well, let's just put it that way. And it didn't stop there. Jamie orderd the peanut butter cheesecake. I wasn't even hungry for dessert, but sure enough, I ate it-most of it. Holy God it was good. I hope my friends didn't notice how many times I kept going back for an extra bite. I'm an animal when it comes to sweets. Cake especially.  YUM!!

Tonight I'll be at Whiskey Tango (in the NE) from 11-1am. I've never been, but I hear it's a lot of fun. Tomorrow it's back to NJ for more girl time. I'm picking Nicole up at 10am, then we're gonna swing and pick up Nancy. We plan on hitting the outlets and lunch afterwards.  Looking forward to it. All three of us get along so well. All we do is laugh. No joke, we crack up the entire time we're together. Sunday I might head over to the kop mall, and then check out "New in Town". Our friends are having a super bowl party Sunday night, so that's we're I'll most likely end up.

Um, did I mention that Stu is in Tampa with his friends? As of right now, they don't have tix to the freaking game!! He keeps re-assuring me that they will get them. OKAY babe.

This morning I was in the mood for some D&D. I'm fired up and ready to start my weekend now!

new luna

I have got to try the new white chocolate macadamia luna bars. YUM!! Looks like I'll be stopping at the store on my way home today. Imagine how good this bar would be with a cold glass of light vanilla almond milk. This could be a potential breakfast for tomorrow morning.

peace out decaf

Normal_Starbucks_logo_RGB

Bad news if you like decaf coffee after 12pm (NICOLE)..haha. Starbs thinks it's too expensive. They plan to stop brewing decaf after noon. This move will save the company $400 million by September. They say a "buzz free brew" will be available but costumers will have to wait 4 minutes for the pot to be made on demand. Hmmm, what could you do for 4 minutes while you stand around waiting for your cup of joe to be brewed?? Sift through all their fun mugs? Maybe read a book (they're usually stocked by the barista bar)..how about reading the paper? The options are endless. Speaking of Starbs, I'm thinking a grande sugar free caramel soy latte is what I need after I get off the air. I can taste it now..

As you can see, I'm all business when it comes to my Starbucks!

car chatter

I know I'm not the only one who does this with their lattes. Or maybe I am.

Word on the street is that Katie and Tom Kat are expecting another kid! Read this article OK! magazine is running. It's hilarious. I suppose if your husband puts his hand on your stomach and you both smile at one another, that automatically makes you pregnant!! Come on...seriously. And who the hell cares if she is?? All this baby talk is stressing me out. I need to go shopping.

nyc visit later

Since Glenn Beck's new show started on The Fox News Channel last Monday, Stu hasn't been getting home til 9 or 10pm every night. He is the hardest working guy I know (and I'm not just saying that because he's my husband). It sucks, but someone's gotta pay for my lv bags (kidding..haha). He has to stay late again tonight to film "Not Just Another Cable News Show" for cnn headline news, so I'm schlepping up  to NYC later to meet him for dinner. Why not right? By the time he gets home, I would have already eaten. Anyway, Stu was raving about this restaurant they ordered from yesterday called "Energy Kitchen". My oh my, this place is a heaven sent. I told Stu the only way I'd come up tonight was if we ate at there. Everything on the menu is under 500 calories and SUPER healthy. Scope out the site, YOU WILL DIE!!! I feel a vlog coming on. Check back tomorrow for a re-cap. I'm thinking a burger tonight. YUM.
