well.......what'd ya think of britney?

What did you think of Brit's "For the Record" on MTV?? I have to say, I thought her overall tone was a little on the sad side. I feel bad for her. It seems to me like she's just going through the motions. I didn't get the impression that she's like over the moon happy. I'm rooting for her though. Definitely seems like she's become more aware of the people around her and keeps her inner circle pretty tight. She looks AMAZING. I have to give her that. Whoa! Her comeback will be huge and I wish her all the best. She's on the cover of Glamour's January issue- here's a sneak peak at some of the interview.

Her life is calmer these days, she says:

"I don't like going out. I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people," the singer tells Glamour. "I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel.  I'm kind of boring."

On her post-baby bod:

"My body...completely changed [after giving birth], and I have had to work hard at getting it back."

umm, it's 12:30...

And I just got up!! Holy crap, at this time yesterday, we were already in NYC having lunch at Heartland Brewery. Can you say lazy ass? Just as planned, we spent the day in NY and saw "A White Christmas" at the Marquis Theater. It was really cute. I was definitely feeling in Christmas spirit when we left. Radio City Hall was jamming with people. Obviously, many families chose this weekend to take their kids to see the Rockettes. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to be in NYC. We're going to the Rockettes on 12/22. Can't wait.

I have nothing planned for today except for church at 6pm. I have to get a run in so I plan on doing that as soon as the banana I ate digests..haha. I think I need to have subway for lunch. I'm craving a veggie sub.
Mmmm. Have a fun rainy day :0)

Friday, but I keep thinking it's Saturday

Fourchristmases_galleryposter1We saw Four Christmas this afternoon and just like anticipated,  we loved it. It's predicted to knock Twilight out of the #1 spot, bringing in over $32 million. It is so funny, you must see it! After the movies, I got a blow out. My hair is finally getting long enough for me to start back up with my beloved blow outs, YES!! After that, we went to the Willow Grove mall. Can you believe we walked into The Cheesecake Factory on black Friday and at prime time dinner hours and we got seated immediately??? That NEVER happens. No, seriously, I've never been to TCF and haven't had to wait at least an hour. Sh*t, this is proof that we really are in an economic depression. When no one's eating at The Cheesecake Factory, you know we're screwed. Let's see Obama get us out of this mess. I got the seared tuna salad and Stu got fried mac 'n cheese balls. YUM! After our quick dinner (seeing that we didn't have to wait. I'm still in shock), we walked around for a little while. Teenage girls annoy me. They're totally under dressed overly made up. Ugh. Just be yourself!!!

I am watching QVC now and the Dooney & Bourke segment is on. I really like the signature quilt large tote bag.

go to church

Nyc_st_patricks_cathedral

"Attending a weekly religious service, regardless of your faith, may lower your risk of death by 20 percent compared to people who don't attend services", researchers are reporting.

We found a chuch here in Yarldley that we love. I have to admit tough, lately we haven't been going as much because we've been so busy. That is no excuse. If I can fit in one hour a day of working out into my schedule, there is no reason why I can't sqeeze in 1 hour a week for church. We will be at 6pm service this week, and that's that!!

"Religion is always a hot topic, but particularly now, when people are perhaps in fear because of the recession and the threat of terrorism, people are looking for stability, and religion is something we find people reach out to for that stability. And, we see some health benefits here," said the study's lead author, Eliezer Schnall, a clinical assistant professor of psychology at Yeshiva College at Yeshiva University in New York City.

top 10 best places to shop

It's Black Friday and I'm sitting here in my pj's. Like most people, I LOVE a bargain, but I can't muster up the courage to get out there and fight the crowds. I don't have the patience, (or the temper). I'm getting every one on my list American Express gift cards this year. At least with those, they are guaranteed to love what they get. Yahoo.com listed the top 10 stores to go to for black Friday deals. Most stores will have marked things done 40-70% off!! Click here for the stores you MUST hit for the best deals.

oprah keeps it simple..

20081118_tows_holiday1_284x218Oprah didn't do her typical "Favorite Thing's" show this year. No refrigerators, flat screen tv's and lap tops. Instead, it was all about getting thrifty, thoughtful and creative. Lot's of great tips, and fun ideas. Cheap is chic!!

is mariah pregnant?

Ellen seems to think so. Watch this snippet from yesterday's show and you decide. At this rate, with the crazy baby boom going on and all, I wouldn't be surprised if she really was. GOD, WHEN WILL HAPPEN FOR ME???????????????? Let's get things rolling. I'm ready.
