I decided to sleep in today, which means, that once again, my run is postponed until later. Awesome. We just played this new song called "Down" by Jay Sean and Lil Wayne. I LOVE it and it's definitely going strait on my ipod.
Yesterday, after unpacking, catching up on laundry and running a billion errands, I finally got around to planting my flowers. I bought one flat thinking it would be enough to fill 3 pots. Umm, yeeah, not so much. I have to go back to Elsie's today and get another flat. The flowers that I did plant look great, but we still have 4 empty pots waiting to be filled. The deck will look much better once all the flowers are in.
It's good to be back on the air today. I missed you. Thanks for all the emails/texts/calls. You're so sweet!
Big news..look who packed her lunch like a big girl? My friend Nicole always brings her lunch to work and seeing that we still have no fridge, and I can't continue eating lunch at 3pm (way tooo late), I'm taking after Nic and brown pink baggin' it. I have yet find a small enough ice pack to fit in this bag though. I filled a ziplock bag with ice cubes to keep everything cold for now, but I really would like an ice pack. Where can I find one? Target had none, either did Giant orAcme. Bummer. I need to an official lunch carrier, and ice cubes won't cut it!
We got new lip balm and spf (30) sun screen sticks in. How rad are these? They smell so good too. Very tropical, like cocnuts. Yum!
okay, back to the show. More update coming later. I have a lot to fill you in.
have a beautiful day!

We've been here for the past 3 days, and everyday I've worn a sweater. It's been so cold.
We're leaving this afternoon. Hopefully traffic won't be too bad going back to PA. I'm assuming it would be worse coming in rather than going out.
We had a great time. The last few days were nice and very relaxing. I got a fantastic facial yesterday. As soon as I read online that they used and sold Yonka products, I was down. I bought more optimizer, masque 1 and cream to lighten up sun spots. I'm all set now. Fully stocked.
We saw "Bruno" last night, (and I ate way too many skittles). Holy cow, I thought it was going to be terrible. I was bracing for the worst, but surprisingly it really funny.
That's all for now. I ran 5 miles Thursday, yesterday and today. The area is gorgeous which made it really easy to enjoy my runs.
Packing up the car and we're out. See ya later Hamptons.

From this week (so far)
Today we drove over to South Hampton. Cute area. There's a Ralph Lauren store on literally every corner here. Can his logo get any bigger?? Seriously. Tacky as hell. We I shopped around for a while, then came back to the inn. I took a nap until it was time to leave for dinner.
PS- We saw "The Proposal" last night (finally). I really liked it. Sandra Bullock looks AMAZING for 45. Whatever she's doing, it's working. WOW. Ryan Reynolds wasn't too bad either. Adorable as always. Damn you Scarlett.

Still no Kelly Ripa sighting :0(
We're leaving Saturday, so I'm sure her, Mark and the kiddies will be here this weekend. Oh well...
I ran a nice 5 miles this morning. Feeling good.
Here's the public beach a few miles from where we're staying. BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of Madison, CT (where I grew up).
I took this with my bb. Not bad for a cell pic huh?
Okay, off to dinner. ME WANT LOBSTER.

Me likey the Hamptons. I can see why all the celebs (and Real Housewives) hang here during the summer months.
Not a bad drive either. We left PA around 11:30, stopped twice (once for lunch), and got here by 3:30.
First things first:
SHOP!
Intermix in highly over-rated, over priced and way too stylish for me.
Onto Dylan's Candy Shop..more my speed.
Candy galore. LOVE IT!
I stopped for Coconut water. It was delightful! Thanks for the recommendation girls!
Tory Burch store. I un-followed her on twitter yesterday.
This was closed by the time I got there. I'll go back tomorrow :0)
Windmill across the street from where we're staying.
Off to dinner.

Hamptons, here we come! I'm in serious vacation mode, so you'll have to forgive me for the lack of posts lately. We're staying at a cute little "inn", and there is no workout room (obvi), so I'll have to bring garmin forerunner. Looks like LP's gonna be hittin' the pavement these next few days.
I've been researching restaurants in the area and made reservations for Friday night @ Harvest on the Hudson. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about eating out (wait a min..that was last night)..haha. Anyway, should be a nice relaxing time. If you've ever been to East Hampton and can suggest anywhere specific we need to go/see/ do, pls post or email me the info. The tourist in me is revved up and ready to explore. Gracias amiga.
**This is not where we're staying (I wish). It's simply a pic I found on the web (thanks to google). This house probably belongs to a real housewife (maybe Jil Z or The Countess)..who knows. I wish it belonged to me though :0)

Oh, I am soooooo in vaycay mode, it's not even funny. We're off to the Hamptons and I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Ya think I'll run into Kelly Ripa? I would die!!!
I'm having dinner with Nicole and Nanc tonight. We're going to our regular place of gossip (Big Fish) in Princeton. Fun.
Our 4th of July was nothing eventful. Of course our bet went down and Stu won. We ran errands, grocery shopped, hit Lowes, took the dogs to the park. It was hilarious to watch them play. While we did absolutely nothing, it was one of the best days. Just me and Stu. We cooked out, I drank. It was loads FUN!!!
Last night we had dinner at Seasons 52 (again). Let it be known that this was the 3rd weekend in a row we ate there. Yes, we are big fans. Too bad our waiter sucked it. Don't get me started. Food was awesome though and that's what counts.
I couldn't sleep last night. I'm assuming it's because I caught up on all my zzzzz's over the weekend.
It's commercial free Monday so I've got loads of music to play. Call me 1-866-990-4487
Happy Monday :0)

STU!
Stu went the entire day without any soda. Unbelievable. I'm still in shock. I was trying my hardest to tempt him with mine every chance I got. When were were at Panera, I drank a nice big cup of diet pepsi. He was missing it. Before we left Panera I refilled. When we got in the car, Stu was like " you would of never refilled that if we weren't having this bet". He's right. I wouldn't have. I don't even drink soda normally. Anyway, as we were carrying on with our day I snuck a few swipes of chaptsick over my lips. I had too. They were dying from the dryness. Plus, who counts chapstick as make-up??
When we got home last night, over dinner (and 3 glasses of riesling later), I admitted to Stu that I used chaptstick on several occasions throughout the day. He proceeded to tell me that I cheated and he was the winner. I'm okay with that. This little wager of ours had less to do about me and more to do about him. It was a little experiment. I wanted him to realize that there's more to life than damn SODA! The guy drinks between 12-14 cans /bottles a day. Granted they're all diet, but still. Consuming that much soda every day cannot be good for your health. He doesn't get this. I think Stu needs to start weening himself off that crap. Maybe start by swapping out every other soda he'd normally drink for something like flavored water or diet snapple?? Any suggestions? What Stu realized from this experiment wasn't so much that he missed soda itself, but the carbonation you get from it. I told him drink flavored seltzer. He wasn't down with that. Back to the drawing board.
Alright on with my day. I have a lot to do
*Two more days til vacation! YAY.
