Crap, before I go, I have to post the Cole Haan bag I talked Stu into letting me get ordered. Now I have something to look forward to when I get back from Bermuda.
Fierce.
I was on the subway when I looked over at the girl sitting next me. She was rocking this fierce bag. In Love {swoon.} Luckily I was able to make out the designer {Cole Haan} and immediately googled it as soon as I got to work. To my shocking surprise, it was actually in stock AND it was on SALE!!! Double score!! I've never owned a Cole Haan bag before {and don't really care for black bags in general} however, I must say, Cole Haan is sharp looking brand. This bag is bigger than it looks. I'm so thankful for the random girl on the 1 train. Shout out to you whoever you are :0)

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some Honeycrisp apples!! Word on the street is that they'll start popping up in grocery stores by the end of this month. If you can't wait, you can order them here.
Honeycrisp apple's harvest season ranges from September 15 to October 10 in east central Minnesota. Optimum harvest usually occurs in the fourth week of September, approximately one week after McIntosh and 2-1/2 weeks before Red Delicious. Earlier harvested apples are generally mild in flavor, while fruit from later harvest dates may be strongly aromatic. Honeycrisp apples ripen evenly and hold well on the tree. They can be harvested over an extended period or in a single picking. Although fruit adherence is usually good, trees with excessive crops may show some fruit drop. Thinning of heavy crops is advised since overcropping may also adversely affect flavor and fruit quality. Honeycrisp blooms in the early to middle part of the apple flowering period. It produces viable pollen that has successfully fertilized numerous other cultivars in experimental hand pollinations. Honeycrisp does not carry any known exceptional resistances to diseases or insects. Apple scab and cedar apple rust lesions have been observed on the leaves but these diseases have been readily controlled with a standard spray program. It has shown moderate susceptibility to fireblight. Supplemental applications of calcium may be useful in preventing bitter pit.September 02, 2010

Oh my Lord, everyone please say a little prayer that we don't get hit with some crazy ass tropical storm. We're not too worried about "Earl", but "Fionna" is waiting in the wings and it's headed strait for Bermuda!!!!
Ahh, we leave on Saturday.
Dear God,
Please re-direct or better yet, make Fionna disappear from doppler radar.
We've been looking forward to enjoying a little "topicality" not "tropical storms" for months now.
I will go to church in Bermuda, I swear.
Thank you,
Lisa

How's everyone doing on this lovely hump day? I intended on going for a 6 mile run this morning, but when I flipped on the tv at 5:15 and saw that the temp was already at 80, I decided to bail. After running in the cooler and more "crisp" temps last week, the thought of sweating 5 minutes into my run was a total off. I took my cardio workout down to our nice cool basement. I did 50 minutes on my elliptical and called it a day workout. Done and done.
Boston bound!I booked our Amtrak tickets to Boston! We're going up to visit my sis and Lenny in November. We had such a great time last year. Can't wait to invade Bean town again. Remember some of these classic pic's?
When Lin's and I are together, we always make time to squeeze in a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's run. It's a must.
We get stupid at these stores. We also love us some pumpkin buttah
I had no clue what this was, it just looked good.
We ran along the Charles river, shopped on Newbury St, and ate. A lot.
I love Boston in the Fall.
